3Muri Vaults is STADATA’s new software, developed in collaboration with Prof. Massimiliano Lucchesi, Prof. Nicola Zani, and Prof. Barbara Pintucchi of the University of Florence, for the modeling and verification of real masonry vaults, even with irregular geometries.

Starting from a simple DXF file, from plan points, or from existing arches, the software automatically generates the real surfaces, handling complex intersections with mathematical precision.

The mesh, generated automatically, is customizable and ready for analysis.

Thanks to the MADY solver, dedicated exclusively to the calculation of vaults, it is possible to perform static analyses, linear and nonlinear, and nonlinear seismic analysis, identifying stresses, deformations, and pinpointing the critical areas requiring intervention.

Vault Modeler

The 3Muri Vaults modeler makes it possible to create the geometry of masonry vaults simply and accurately. It is possible to import a 3D point cloud, a DXF file, or start from one of our customizable models. The software automatically manages thicknesses, materials, and loads, generating a finite element mesh ready for analysis. The entire modeling process is guided and intuitive, designed to reduce input time and increase productivity both in the office and on site.

Reinforcements

With 3Muri Vaults it is possible to model and verify the reinforcement of masonry vaults in a complete and realistic way. The software allows fiber-reinforced materials (FRP and FRCM) to be applied both to the intrados and to the extrados of the vault, improving its load-bearing capacity and seismic behavior. It is also possible to insert ties to contain horizontal thrusts and reinforced concrete beams for effective structural strengthening, ensuring an analysis that is integrated and consistent with the reinforcement interventions.

Arch Module

The Arch Module allows for the static and seismic verification of masonry arches, offering precise and intuitive tools for defining the geometry and structural parameters. It is possible to model circular or parametric arches, setting the width, thickness, and number of calculation sections. Thanks to advanced analysis procedures, the module provides reliable and immediate results, supporting the assessment and design of interventions on masonry structures.
