Intelligent structural alignments with 3Muri Project
Defining alignments is one of the most delicate steps in the construction of a structural model. Through the integration of Artificial Intelligence, 3Muri Project introduces an advanced approach: intelligently generated alignments based on DXF files, which can be verified and are fully controllable by the designer.
By importing the architectural plan in DXF format, the software analyses the geometry and interprets the layout of the load-bearing elements. Thanks to advanced geometric recognition algorithms, it is able to:
- identify the main axes of the structure;
- interpret the distribution of walls and load-bearing elements;
- automatically propose the most suitable alignments for discretising the model.
- The result is a coherent preliminary configuration ready for validation, with a significant reduction in set-up time.
Human-in-the-loop: the engineer remains at the centre
Automation supports the process, but technical judgement remains central. The workflow follows a human-in-the-loop approach:
Analysis of the proposal: visualisation of the suggested alignments;
Full editing: the ability to modify nodes and alignments, adding or removing alignments;
Final validation: automatic generation of the alignment model, ready for the subsequent analysis stages.
